Darren was born in july 1990 and passed away suddenly in november 2008. He was and is my 6'4" gentle giant. His photo shows him and his little sister Caelyn, 5, she misses him so much.
He was loved by many and such a special person, even though he never really thought this himself. He had a heart of gold, and adored his brothers and sisters, and all his younger cousins, nothing was ever too much for Darren to do for anyone, he will be missed forever, by many hearts he touched.
He was diagnosed with diabetes 5 years ago. Over those years he had problems with it, but no one knew things were that bad. He always thought he could beat it no matter what.
He did 2 years of an apprenticeship with a company in glasgow, as a railway engineer, had his own flat in falkirk, and just as his life should have been starting, it was cruelly taken away from him.
Darren's life was always a struggle for him, and me, and our relationship was put to the test so many times, but we got things back on track about 5 years ago and he always made me proud, he achieved many things others never would, he was so intellegent, hopefully now he is at peace, with his gran Iris, my mum, she passed away in 1991 aged 45.
